Anne F. MacLennan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at York University and former Graduate Program Director of the Joint Program in Communication & Culture at York and Ryerson Universities. She is the editor of Journal of Radio & Audio Media. She has published in the Journal of Radio & Audio Media and Women’s Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal, The Radio Journal, Relations Industrielles/Industrial Relations, Urban History Review and in a variety of collections. Her research interest include community radio, media history, broadcasting, popular culture, Canadian history and Canadian studies, women, social welfare, poverty and cultural representations in the media.

Michael Windover is Assistant Professor of Art History in the School for Studies in Art and Culture at Carleton University, where he is currently Supervisor of the History and Theory of Architecture Program. He is also Adjunct Curator of Design at the Canada Science and Technology Museum. His research interests include twentieth-century architecture and design culture and the designed environments of mass media. He is author of Art Deco: A Mode of Mobility (Québec: Presses de l’Université du Québec, 2012).
